Corrosion Engineer - Paris
On behalf of a major Oil & Gas operator, WRS are looking for a Corrosion Engineer to work in Paris on a contract basis. This will be a 12 month renewable contract, based residentially in Paris, paying a gross day rate in Euro.
The role will be supporting the development of a large onshore LNG bunkering project in the Middle East, which is currently in detailed design phase, going into EPC.

On behalf of a major Oil & Gas operator, WRS are looking for a Corrosion Engineer to work in Paris on a contract basis. This will be a 12 month renewable contract, based residentially in Paris, paying a gross day rate in Euro.
The role will be supporting the development of a large onshore LNG bunkering project in the Middle East, which is currently in detailed design phase, going into EPC.
Job Duties:
- Accountable for all matters related to the Corrosion/Coating engineering, fit for purpose and with full respect to the Statement of Requirement with approved changes.
- Prepares and suggests technical content of essential studies to initiate EPC contractor action and conformity with state of the art in LNG plant design.
- Supervises all subcontracted studies and provides support to other packages with the support of Head Quarters specialist.
- Ensure Corrosion/Coating choices take into account constructability, operability and flexibility of the facilities
- Proposes recommendations on technical deviation requests and keeps updated the documentation related to the Corrosion/Coating disciplines.
- Participates to studies required by third parties as required
- Call for/Participate to interfaces coordination activities and ensure synergies are developed between the different Contractors.
- Assist commissioning, start up and Operation team when required. Transfer project knowledge to operations.
- Mechanical Engineer with proven experience (minimum 10 years) specialty in Corrosion/Coating
- Several years of proven experience in EPSCC stages of oil and gas projects
- Experience on similar LNG projects
- Experience working for an Oil & Gas operator
- Right to work in the EU
- Basic knowledge in welding, and NDT engineering.
