Position Overview As an HVAC Project Manager, you will oversee commercial HVAC projects ranging from $2M to $10M+, from preconstruction through closeout. You’ll coordinate teams, manage budgets and schedules, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintain strong relationships with clients, engineers, and trade partners.
This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a background in mechanical contracting, commercial construction, or HVAC project management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute commercial HVAC projects from start to finish
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and cost control to ensure profitability
  • Coordinate field operations, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout documents
  • Ensure compliance with mechanical codes, safety standards, and project specifications
  • Communicate regularly with owners, engineers, general contractors, and internal leadership
  • Lead project meetings and provide timely progress reports

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as an HVAC Project Manager in commercial or institutional construction
  • Proven knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical codes, and construction best practices
  • Experience managing projects in healthcare, higher education, government, or large commercial sectors preferred
  • Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar software tools
  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
