The client was handling all of its own travel and logistics in-house, however this was resulting in delays and missed flights meaning employees were often late to site and/or business meetings. The client was using high street travel agencies meaning they were not benefiting from the savings achieved from high volume business.
WRS were appointed to handle all travel and logistics for the client. Cost savings of circa 40% were achieved as WRS utilised our in-house travel team. The global WRS travel team are able to pass onto our client savings due to our global spend of circa £3.5m plus per annum, deals with appointed agents, airlines and hotel groups. WRS also rewrote the Client travel policies following a review of authorisations and expenditure levels resulting a clear and accountable system.
