Talk to me about... starting or developing your career in Recruitment!

My career at WRS began in November 2015 when I was brought on board to manage the recruitment of staff to the company, both in the UK and overseas. WRS has always had an ambitious growth plan and this involves hiring Trainee Consultants, with little or no previous recruitment experience, as well as experienced Recruiters to be part of our thriving business.

My role also includes Learning & Development and I’m part of the team that trains our new recruits.

I’m always happy to have a chat to prospective WRS employees. I’m aware that there’s plenty of choice for people looking to embark on a recruitment career as there are lots of agencies and opportunities around right now. My aim is to let everyone know what makes WRS stand out and I regularly blog about what it’s like to work here. The comprehensive training programme and opportunities for career development are just a couple of things that set WRS apart.

Away from work, I love to travel and have been lucky enough to visit some amazing places including Sri Lanka, Bali, Thailand, Vietnam, California, New York and Canada. My next goal is to explore more of Europe. I also enjoy running, netball and hiking in an effort to keep fit and offset my love of chocolate!
