Job description

WRS are looking for an Accounts Assitant for an Immediate start with one of our clients in London. 

The role is on a temp to perm basis, focusing on Cash flow reporting. 

Key Accountabilities
  • Prepare weekly cash flow forecast, including and not limited to the following:
    • Prepare the cash flow model on a weekly basis, with a 13-week outlook
    • Reconciling the cash flow model to actual cash movements in the week
    • Cash flow report to be prepared for analysis by activity and supplier where applicable
    • Liaise with relevant business stakeholders to obtain inputs in preparation of the 13-week forecast, including:
      • Phased short term project and corporate related commitments on cash basis
      • Phase existing invoices in the accounting system as well as outstanding accruals
      • Phasing and tracking of all other related expenditure and receipts such as sales, JV funding, contractual payments (bond, deferred considerations, legal payments etc)
      • Compare existing invoices and commitments with expected supplier run rates and adjust cash flow where necessary
    • Analysis of short-term currency requirements; Providing support to the CFO and Financial Controller with FX trades when needed
    • Bank liaison including:
      • Reviewing credit limits
      • Onboarding/Support for new Bankline users
      • Maintenance for corporate debit/credit cards
      • Constant review of banking terms, rates
      • KYC process support if required
    • Monitoring timely receipt of the revenues and funding from JV partner
    • Other ad-hoc tasks include, and not limited to:
      • Assist the Management Account with preparation of JV billings statements
      • Providing report material to the Management Account and Procurement team on outstanding commitments
      • Assist Management Accountant with JV funding requirements dependent on inputs attained form the 13-week cash forecast
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Experience with accounting/P2P software
  • Working towards accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA)
  • Good organisational skills
  • Time management
  • Professional approach and high level of discretion
  • Team player, willing to learn and get involved with a wide range of tasks in this growing company
  • Ability to work on own initiative and generate solution
  • Right to work in the UK Required
