Position Title: Area Manager

Job Summary:
Seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Manager to oversee and drive sales performance across Central and Southern Iraq. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of Sales Supervisors/Merchandisers, ensuring execution excellence, and achieving business targets in line with the company’s strategy in the FMCG sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop Sales Supervisors across the assigned regions.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance.
- Develop and implement area sales strategies to achieve volume and distribution targets.
- Ensure effective route planning, trade coverage, and execution at point of sale.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and trade marketing teams for promotional alignment.
- Ensure proper execution of merchandising standards and visibility across all outlets.
- Conduct regular market visits to assess performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Track KPIs and prepare accurate weekly/monthly sales reports.
- Ensure team adherence to company policies, values, and compliance standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in FMCG sales/Merchandising, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of the Central and Southern Iraq markets.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel frequently.
