Business Development Manager (West Africa)

• Working with the Business Development team to access and develop opportunities in key identified international markets (Africa), in line with the Company's trading and investment strategy.
• Updating and providing the management with a general investment portfolio sheet, being a resume of the projects figures invested in general.
• Following up the projects handled by the Business Development Dept.
• Updating the management with periodical financial analysis reports including P&L, sales chart and forecast for the running and upcoming projects.
• Coordinating with other departments for improvement of operations (Trading, Finance, Legal).
• Following up investments undertaken by management; updating with a summary chart stating IRR, yield and dividends of the projects.
• Project management, including liaison with local government representatives, owners and operators of private companies, shipping agents, banking and financial institutions, customs.
• Available for extensive overseas travelling for business opportunities in markets where the company is already operating and seeking further development.

• Fluent in English with another European language skill preferred
• Be detailed and results oriented
• Thorough knowledge of the business, commercial market and counter parties in African markets
• Be proficient in using computer applications and software
• Have strong negotiating skills
• Be able to network and develop key relationships
• Be observant and resourceful
• Be methodical
• Be able to delegate responsibilities
