Business Promotion Manager - Japan
On behalf of a major renewable energy developer, WRS are looking for a Business Promotion Manager to work in Japan on a contract basis. This will be a 2 year contract with potnetial for extension, based in Tokyo, paying a monthly salary plus benefits.
The role involves project management, including obtaining permits and local agreements for highly promising power development projects and organizing projects while drafting business plans (cash flow, schedules, and schemes). The primary focus will be on solar power plants, but you will aim to provide a wide range of renewable energy solutions by gaining knowledge in other energy sources.
Job Duties:

The role involves project management, including obtaining permits and local agreements for highly promising power development projects and organizing projects while drafting business plans (cash flow, schedules, and schemes). The primary focus will be on solar power plants, but you will aim to provide a wide range of renewable energy solutions by gaining knowledge in other energy sources.
Job Duties:
- Managing partnerships with developers and other partners
- Selecting and procuring EPC companies and managing construction processes
- Managing budgets and costs
- Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and contract management (including responding to demand-side entities in corporate PPA projects)
- Negotiating with banks and forming finance structures
- Establishing new partnerships to expand renewable energy
- Over 5 years of experience in acquiring land and developing projects for solar power plants (consideration will also be given to experience in wind power, biomass, or other renewable energy fields)
- Alternatively, experience in project management within EPC businesses
- Experience in project development management and leading the development process
