Buyer
Location: London
Contract: 12-Month Renewable

Seeking an experienced Buyer for an onshore construction project. The role focuses on preparing and negotiating major packages for EPCI of onshore projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate major subcontracts and purchase orders for onshore EPCI projects.
Support the Commercial department by obtaining quotes and issuing pre-agreements.
Build and maintain relationships with key market players.
Review variation order requests from suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring price consistency and contractual compliance.
Liaise with team members on purchasing requests and keep them updated on developments related to managed packages.
Ensure compliance with government regulations, company policies, and procedures.
Perform other duties as required by the Department Manager.

Requirements:

Minimum 10 years of procurement experience.
Proven expertise in negotiating high-value subcontracts and purchase orders in the oil & gas sector.
Proficient in SAP for subcontract and PO processing.
Membership in a Purchasing Institute is preferred but not essential.
