Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Estimator with experience in general construction to join our team in Fort Lauderdale. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately preparing cost estimates for a variety of commercial construction projects, ensuring competitive and profitable bids. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of industry standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to develop accurate cost estimates.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to gather and evaluate pricing information.
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost breakdowns.
• Assist in bid proposal preparation, including risk analysis and value engineering.
• Monitor project budgets and costs throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Commercial Estimator in general construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
