Job description
WRS are recruiting for a Commercialization Strategy Manager to join a world leader in development and construction of offshore wind projects, based in Copenhagen.
This position will be responsible for taking the lead in terms of customer interaction, off-take and asset commercialization matters. This role manages a portfolio of projects, focusing on planning and executing key issues about monetizing renewable energy generation assets.

This position will be responsible for taking the lead in terms of customer interaction, off-take and asset commercialization matters. This role manages a portfolio of projects, focusing on planning and executing key issues about monetizing renewable energy generation assets.
Main tasks and activities:
- Researching and analyzing off-take markets, regulations, commonly commercial terms, and pricing, for power and other energy products such as hydrogen. (10%).
- Analyzing the existing power system where we are reviewing a project or transaction, proposed changes to the system, and how this will impact our generation plant and position as a seller, over time. (10%).
- Researching analyzing major potential buyers, their loads / energy needs, and contractual preferences. (20%).
- Drafting commercial documents for interface and negotiations with customers. (30%).
- Supporting the execution of corporate PPA (CPPA) transactions, including document review, and cooperating with 3rd parties (legal advisors, financial advisors, other). (30%).
The successful applicant will:
- 3-5 years of commercial experience, management consulting, transaction support, law
- Degree in business, economics, law, or engineering. Fluency in English. Experience in supporting transactions. Knowledge of electricity markets
- Understanding of electricity markets and renewable energy.
- Ability to draft customer communication documents and manage meetings and customer interface.
