Commercialisation Strategy Manager EU

WRS are recruiting for a Commercialization Strategy Manager to join a world leader in development and construction of offshore wind projects, based in Copenhagen.

This position will be responsible for taking the lead in terms of customer interaction, off-take and asset commercialization matters. This role manages a portfolio of projects, focusing on planning and executing key issues about monetizing renewable energy generation assets.

Main tasks and activities:

  • Researching and analyzing off-take markets, regulations, commonly commercial terms, and pricing, for power and other energy products such as hydrogen. (10%).
  • Analyzing the existing power system where we are reviewing a project or transaction, proposed changes to the system, and how this will impact our generation plant and position as a seller, over time. (10%).
  • Researching analyzing major potential buyers, their loads / energy needs, and contractual preferences. (20%).
  • Drafting commercial documents for interface and negotiations with customers.  (30%).
  • Supporting the execution of corporate PPA (CPPA) transactions, including document review, and cooperating with 3rd parties (legal advisors, financial advisors, other). (30%).



The successful applicant will:
  • 3-5 years of commercial experience, management consulting, transaction support, law
  • Degree in business, economics, law, or engineering. Fluency in English.  Experience in supporting transactions. Knowledge of electricity markets
  • Understanding of electricity markets and renewable energy.
  • Ability to draft customer communication documents and manage meetings and customer interface.
