My client is looking for a Commissioning Engineer to outline detailed design requirements and follow that design through the project development process.
This person will work independently remotely (during design phase) and in the field at project sites in Massachusetts (during commissioning).

Key Responsibilities
• Work to design, build, install, commission, and service BESS units.
• Conduct quality controls and inspections on BESS and product assemblies
• Take a hands-on approach in the execution and construction of projects including subcontractor site visits, fabrication floor inspections, and test programs.
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and participate in the development of commissioning and maintenance procedures

Requirements
• Familiarity with the following:
  • 1500VDC and 600VAC electrical systems
  • AC/DC Inverters & DC/DC Converters
  • QA/QC of electrical and comm. systems
  • PLC and Automation Systems
  • Network communications
• Knowledge of NEC, CEC, UL9540 and NFPA 855 standards
• Hands on experience with high voltage equipment
• Hands on experience with integration in BESS units
• Thorough understanding of electrical/mechanical designs, P&IDs, specifications, and codes
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with electrical diagnostic tools

Location: Hybrid Field position in Massachusetts (across the state)
Salary: Base salary $120,000-140,000
