On behalf of a major oil and gas operator, I am searching for a Completion Engineer to join them on a rotation (8/2) to Tanzania on a long term contract for a large greenfield cross-country pipeline construction.
Role:
- Serves as the Punch List Authorized Individual, managing punch list processes per project specs and ensuring item accuracy, legitimacy, and system relevance while leading daily completion meetings.
- Analyzes system definitions and pre-commissioning (pre-ops) sequences based on P&ID markups.
- Reviews and requests modifications to Completion System databases (ICAPS, WINPCS, TAKEOVERXPS, SMARTPLANT).
- Coordinates with discipline leads and QA/QC for final inspections (walkdowns), test report tracking, and inspection planning.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate qualifications from a multi-disciplinary institute of technology with an engineering degree or similar.
- At least 10 years’ experience in the field of Construction and Turn over (completion) in a similar position.
