On behalf of a oil major client WRS are searching for a Completions Engineer (Mechanical) to work on a capital pipeline project in Tanzania. The role will be offered on a 12 month renewable contract offering long scope of work and be based on site with a paid daily rate.

Successful candidates required:
Postgraduate qualifications from a multi-disciplinary institute of technology with an engineering degree or similar.
At least 10 years’ experience in the field of Construction and Turn over (completion) in a similar position.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is an essential requirement.
Computer literacy, Word – Excel – Power Point – PDF, familiarity with and proficiency in the use of wellestablished Completion software are required.
Strong leadership skills, ability to lead and work as part of a team, interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of PID, system definition, and turn over / completion requirement.
Excellent communication skills, proficiency in producing quality reports and negotiating skills.
Career experience leading to an in-depth understanding of the skills described above.
Knowledge of all phases of multidisciplinary construction: on-site activities in all technical disciplines, all construction technologies and management functions applicable to the workplace and supervision.
Demonstrate proficiency in the interpretation of engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
Demonstrated communication skills including the ability to articulate construction concerns and solutions with teams consisting of individuals with various technical and educational backgrounds.
Advanced written and spoken English.
Analytically and problem-solving skills
Ability to travel as and when required.
Competence in report writing and planning, good organisational sense.
Very good capability to communicate, negotiate and interact with others.
Previous experience working with multicultural contractors’ and reporting their performance.
Knowledge of International Standards.
