WRS are searching for a Control Room Leader for a major Oil & Gas Operator.  
This is a contract position 18+months, based in Uganda, East Africa with an ASAP start.  

Accountabilities

• Key role in Ownership of the project Installation, leading by example for new hired Ugandan CCR Operator’s.
• Close follow up with CCR Operator trainees and perform one on one assessments providing guidance and positive feedback
• Develop CCR Operator Reflex Cards based on OTS simulations for Initial FO Start-up, Normal Start-up, Preservation and Shutdown phases.
• Responsible to lead up to 6 CCR Operator’s in operations (3 day/3 nights)
• Accountable for CCR Operator performance while under direct supervision
• Ensure CCR Operator’s adhere to production targets / nominations
• Emergency Team Member acting multiple roles depending on specific training received.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years practical experience in the field of Production Operations onshore or offshore sites - Experience as control room operator, one successful assignment is a minimum requirement
• Key knowledge of Rules, General Specifications and Guide Manuals with focus on Operations and HSE topics.
• Strong technical background in ICSS systems operations
• English language required - spoken and written skills
