Cost Engineer
Location: Madrid, Spain
Project Name: Jafurah Gas Compression Project – Phase 3

WRS are looking for a cost Engineer to join a major Operator on the 3rd Phase of the Jafurah Gas Compression Project based out of the Madrid office. 

Job Purpose:
We seek an experienced Cost Engineer to support our project management team in Madrid, providing expertise on all cost-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain cost reports, cash flow, and contingency analyses.
• Provide cost estimates and manage change orders.
• Monitor project costs, including committed and spent funds.
• Liaise with the HR Department to track billable office space.
• Create accurate financial forecasts and ensure proper cost representation in reports.
• Prepare monthly project updates and review contractor payment certificates.
• Process invoices and create purchase orders using SAP.
• Follow change management processes and verify project costs.

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
• 5-10 years of cost management experience, with at least 3 years on large-scale projects.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in desktop applications.
• Excellent English communication skills
