Drilling Logistics Supervisor

On behalf of an independent operator, WRS are looking for a Drilling Logistics Supervisor to work in Kurdistan on a contract, rotational basis. This will be a 6 month renewable contract on a 28/28 rotation.

Job Duties include:

• Interface with HSE Dept. to ensure best practice, regular toolbox talks and HSE reporting.
• Oversee and promote continuous HSE performance improvement and training.
• Oversee issuing, tracking and assistance with receipting “Call-Off” of materials and services using client ERP system.
• Liaising with Supply Base Supervisor overseeing of day-to-day drilling logistics activities with functional reporting to Drilling Department.
• Ensures inspection and supervises timely, appropriated, and correct preparation and dispatch of equipment to rigs to meet drilling operations requirement.

Ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience working for an operator
• Experience in remote, desert environments (Kurdistan experience preferrable)
• Knowledge & understanding of drilling equipment, services.
• Knowledge of safe oilfield working practice
• Knowledge and experience of the customs and freight forwarding environment in IKRI.
