Position: Electrical Engineer
Working shift: 12hr shifts 
Location: Kirkuk 
working days: 4 days a week
Open to: Locals only

Job Summary:

The Electrical Engineer will support the electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment across the plant, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. The role involves working with Tetra Pak, KHS, processing equipment, LV & HV power systems, UPS units, and various instruments like sensors and flowmeters. The candidate will collaborate with the electrical team, which includes an Automation Engineer and two Electrical Technicians
  Key Responsibilities

  1. Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

  • Assist in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults in filling, packaging, and processing machines.
  • Perform routine maintenance on Tetra Pak, KHS, and processing equipment to ensure efficient operation.
  • Troubleshoot and repair LV & HV power systems, UPS units, sensors, and flowmeters.


      2. Automation & Control Support:
        

  • Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting PLC, SCADA, and automation systems
  • Work with the Automation Engineer to support control system modifications and upgrades.

      3. Power & Instrumentation Management:-Ensure proper operation and calibration of sensors, flowmeters, and other instrumentation.

  • Assist in managing and maintaining UPS systems, transformers, and power distribution panels.

      4. Safety & Compliance: -Follow electrical safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies.

  • Assist in implementing energy-saving and preventive maintenance strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in an electrical maintenance role, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with Tetra Pak, KHS, processing equipment, UPS, LV & HV power systems, and instrumentation.
  • Knowledge of PLC and automation systems is an advantage.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot control circuits.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong Troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
