Electrical HVAC Supervisor
Uganda
12-Month (Renewable)
Responsibilities:
- Oversee complex site maintenance for Electrical discipline, including testing and LOTO (Lockout-Tagout) procedures.
- Act as the Responsible Person for Electrical operations, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.
- Hold an Electrical Regulation Authority Permit A and develop a training plan for others.
- Ensure maintenance operations are executed efficiently, maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
- Supervise and guide the Electrical maintenance team, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Manage daily Electrical maintenance activities, including coordination, planning, and site organization.
- Optimize operations using monitoring tools (ECS – PI AF) and support commissioning/start-up teams as needed.
- Prepare detailed intervention reports and contribute to the development of monitoring tools for VSD, skid components, and electrical control systems.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industries with strong knowledge of safety regulations, codes, and standards.
- Experience with hazardous area installations, high-voltage electrical systems, switchgear, and electric drives.
- Authorized for HV operations with a solid understanding of Electrical disciplines.
