At WRS we are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a global energy leader in the energy transition looking for an Engineering Specialist to join their team. The role is based in Warsaw Poland with a hybrid policy in place.
 
You will assist in the different phases of the development of engineering designs. Specializing in PV plants, Wind Farms and ancillary installations. Actively coordinating with the local and corporate teams in improving designs to assure technical suitability and technical and economic efficiency.
 
For this role the main responsibilities include:
  • Execution of the development of engineering and designs in the different stages: predesign, basic, executive and tender project, supervise technical feasibility of those ones assuring technical standards and project specific conditions.
  • Ensure all projects and technical documentation needed for obtaining all necessary permits and authorisations are prepared in time.
  • Assure the technical solvency and the technical-economic efficiency of the projects.
  • Initiate and develop creative and innovative engineering processes.
  • Ensure strong communication between local E&C teams and Corporate Areas.
  • Supervise the technical adequacy of projects, ensuring the compliance with the company’s standard.
  • Provide specialized technical support in the tender processes and assists E&C teams.
  • Establish relationships with the main suppliers and providers for the whole value chain.
  • Provide the most efficient technical and economical options to the engineering designs for each site.
  • Understand and apply policies to prevent occupational hazards, environment and quality.
 
A successful candidate will possess the following:
  • Experience in design and redaction of different kind of RES projects
  • Experience in managing projects and supervision of engineering projects.
  • Experience in coordination and planning in engineering teams and external engineering companies.
  • Knowledge in electric and/or civil and/or mechanical works.
  • Skilled in AutoCad 3D Civil Design.
  • Knowledge about Solar PV software: PVSyst, Helios 3D, HST, PV Complete would-be a plus.
  • Be proactive and skilled in critical thinking and problem solving.
  • Be able to plan, organize and prioritize workloads.
 
Education Required: Bachelor of Engineering
 
Experience: 3+ years
 
Languages: Polish and English
