Position Summary: The Estimator is responsible for coordination and implementation of construction estimating/bidding controls, administration, document management and technical coordination as it relates to bidding and budgeting projects

Position Summary: The Estimator is responsible for coordination and implementation of construction estimating/bidding controls, administration, document management and technical coordination as it relates to bidding and budgeting projects
Responsibilities
- Develop a solid understanding of estimating and bidding procedures, including document management, codes, and market pricing.
- Implement construction estimating systems, manage project budgets, and generate bid pricing for new and existing clients.
- Review design documents and specifications to prepare bids, budgets, and guaranteed maximum prices.
- Identify design-related challenges and potential project risks.
- Cultivate relationships with clients and subcontractors to enhance budget pricing and value analysis.
- Provide market research insights for upcoming projects.
- Coordinate budget estimates and engage in value engineering during pre-construction.
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Technical related field and/or a minimum of five (5) years of experience in Commercial Construction Estimating.
- Proficiency in Construction Cost Estimating, Purchasing, Scope Development, and Project Scheduling.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Estimating/Bid Creation software.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
Physical Requirements and Environment
- May involve climbing stairs, using construction hoists/elevators, and ladder usage for site visits.
- Work environment may include elevated surfaces, noisy areas, and environments with dust particles and loud machinery.
