On their behalf, I'm looking for an Experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team in Carrickmacross, Ireland.

Responsibilities of the Role:
• Produce solar PV designs using PVSol/PVsyst/ AutoCad
• Complete and submit technical transmittals regarding each project.
• Responsible for evaluating technical suitability of materials and equipment.
• PV System commissioning support to site Engineers.
• Drafting & maintaining project O&M and as built files.
• Maintain document control system for drawings.
• Develop material schedules and take-offs from drawings.
• Responsible for the full project design life cycle.
• Build strong professional relationships with our installers/sub contractors.
• Develop construction details to issue to site.
• Co-ordinate and liaise with each department as required.
• Ensure Company's Policies and procedures are followed closely.
• Contribute to tender negotiation.
• Maintain a weekly project schedule.

Essential Criteria for the Role:
• A 3rd level qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• LVAC/MV Design experience.
• Experience using Cable Design Software
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Have the ability to multi-task and manage numerous projects simultaneously ensuing the highest of standards.
• Adaptable and solutions driven.
• Able to work in a team environment
• Pride in the quality and presentation of work
• Flexible to travel
• Enthusiastic and energetic
• Be a competent user of AutoCAD, PVSol/PVSyst and Microsoft Office

Desirable Criteria:
• Experience in the Construction Industry or Trade Background
