Position:  Finance Manager
Location:  Baghdad 
Open to:   Locals & Expat residing or working currently in Baghdad

Summary of the Job:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the company factory, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting. This position will report to the General Manager & work closely with other department heads to ensure financial goals are met.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain financial budgets and forecasts for the factory.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify areas of improvement and make recommendations to management.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for management, including monthly financial statements, cash flow statements, and budget vs. actual reports.
• Manage cash flow and ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on financial performance.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoicing and collections.
• Supervise the finance team daily & monthly evaluation. 
• Assist with financial audits and tax compliance.
• Coordinate with other company branches to ensure the finance systems are aligned. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience as a finance manager, preferably in a manufacturing or factory environment
• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and budgeting
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
• Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle, is a plus
• CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
