Geosteering Project Lead

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Geosteering Project Lead to drive innovative well placement solutions in a dynamic and challenging environment. This role involves leading geosteering projects, optimizing well placement with advanced resistivity tools, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance subsurface evaluations. Key Responsibilities:
✅ Lead geosteering projects and deliver tailored solutions to subsurface challenges.
✅ Conduct pre-well feasibility studies and provide real-time analysis for deep and ultra-deep resistivity operations.
✅ Perform post-well evaluations integrating geoscience data and tool responses.
✅ Drive technology development and workflow innovations within geosteering.
✅ Mentor and train team members while fostering technical excellence.
✅ Engage with customers to enhance collaboration and optimize well placement strategies.
Key Requirements:
✔ 10+ years of geosteering experience.
✔ Strong expertise in MWD & LWD operations, deep resistivity tools, and 3D resistivity inversion.
✔ Proficiency in geoscience and geosteering software (e.g., RoxC, StrataSteer, DecisionSpace).
✔ Degree in Geology or Geophysics (MSc or BSc preferred).
✔ Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with customer-facing experience.
✔ Fluent in English (Scandinavian language skills are a plus).
