Calling all Health and Safety professionals in housebuild in the North West….

Then look no further as I have a really brilliant opportunity for one individual to become a Health and Safety Manager in an Award Winning house-build division in the North West.

This is newly created role and needs to be filled by someone who strives to work well with all members of the team including Site, Technical and Operations. They would like to speak to someone who can put their hand up and implement Health and Safety procedures throughout the business that will truly propel the model forward to better things. We are talking all aspects of Health and Safety within this housebuilder and although it sounds like a big bite to chew do not worry - you'll be given a smooth transition into the business by the current consultancy who are moving on to pastures new and you'll be given the full support of the Construction and Technical team.

As well as being able to implement new procedures both in and out of the office the company involved is offering a competitive salary with all the relevant benefits including car/car allowance, Bupa health care, 5&5 pension, 25 days holiday, bonus scheme etc. This is a rare opportunity to change the face and dynamics of Health and Safety for one of the largest UK Housebuilders who have an infamous reputation of producing NHBC Pride in the Job and NHBC Health and Safety like they are going out of fashion.

Skills and Qualifications:-

• Minimum of 3 years house build experience;
• Minimum of 5 years Health and Safety advisor experience;
• A in depth knowledge and understanding of CDM regulations;

Roles and Responsibilities:-

• CDM coordination and NHBC regulation compliance;
• Site safety visits;
• Pre-Tender H&S plans;
• Environmental impact to tool box talks;
• Liaison with sub-contractors.
