WRS Kurdistan is looking for an Expat candidate to work as HR Operations Lead for a well-known international company in Kurdistan.

Job Summary:

The Lead, HR Operations is a key member of the HR team and is responsible for ensuring the HR operations area is operating effectively which includes HR System, Onboarding, Payroll, separation, relations with employees, and employees’ contract.


Main Responsibilities:
 
  • Set objectives for the HR operations team and track progress.
  • Review and approve or modify HR operations budgets.
  • Address employees’ queries (e.g., on compensation and labor regulations)
  • Develop induction Program.
  • Establish a robust document management system for HR
  • develop employment contract.
  • Designate HR signatory for employment contract
  • Review and update document checklist
  • Develop employee files (hard & soft copy)
  • Review medical insurance cover
  • Check/update information provided to Social Security Authority, and taxation
  • Introduce exit interview process and forms
  • Manage the HRMS Payroll System and be responsible for forwarding final Pay Run Excel Data to the Group HR Manager within the required timeframe
  • Manage the HRMS system with IT support
  • Ensure the HRMS reflects the rules and regulation of the labour law where approximate
  • Preparing weekly report to Group HR Manager.
  • Executes varied transactional responsibilities - leave management, visa processing, payroll reporting, Insurance, expense claims, Salary certificates/NOCs etc..
  • First point of contact for all employee relations matters
  • Builds partnerships with all levels of employees from individuals to teams, from entry-level to executive leadership;
  • Participates in and supports the documentation of investigations of workplace complaints and allegations such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, hostile work environment, and policy violations.
  • Actively supports or participates in new business activities and proposal teams, when appropriate.

  • Reengineer HR ops processes & develop To Be process flows
  • Develop system implementation roll out plan
  • Conduct scenario/user acceptance testing
  • Define system access rights
  • Define HR dashboard & reporting requirements
  • Activate the website functionality for recruitment
  • Review systems enhancement/additional modules requirement
  • Train HR operations team
  • Developing salary framework & align to grading structure.
  • Developing employee reward and recognition scheme.
  • Reengineering grievance & disciplinary process.
  • Developing annual employee engagement plan.
  • Training and managing HR Planning staff.
  • Preparing weekly report to Group HR Manager.
  • Reviewing/redeveloping employee suggestion scheme.
  • Establishing annual internal communication strategy and plan.

Requirements:

  • 8 years of experience for MBA/MA or 10 years of experience for BA Degree in HR function preferably on HR Operations, and 3 years of experience at a managerial position.
  • MA or BA Degree in HR, Business Administration, Business Management, or Management.
  • Fluent English.

  • Good planning, forecasting and analytical skill.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • The ability to motivate and lead teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
