WRS Kurdistan is looking for an Expat candidate to work as HR Planning Lead for a well-known international company in Kurdistan.

Job Summary:

The Lead, HR Planning is a key member of the HR team and is responsible for ensuring the HR Planning area is operating effectively which includes planning, budgeting, reporting, HR Strategy, HR policy, Job grading and salary structure, culture, and C&B framework



Main Responsibilities:
 
  • Developing the HR strategy and HR business plan.
  • Establishing HR KPIs and HR Panning area objectives.
  • Developing organization chart.
  • Updating/developing JDs.
  • Driving the annual planning and the annual budgeting process for HR, and throughout the year monitoring actual vs budget performance on a monthly basis for HR.
  • Ensuring that team’s deliverables are aligned to the HR Plan and longer-term objectives.
  • coaching the team for high performance.
  • Ensuring that each team member is capable and confident to deliver on their role and has the right development plan – which will allow them to realize their position objectives and also their career goals.
  • Developing a standard template for all HR policies.
  • Developing retention strategy.
  • Developing a policy inventory covering employee lifecycle.
  • Identifying business representatives to support policy development.
  • Running policy review group with business representatives.
  • Developing employee handbook.
  • Train HR team and managers on new policies.
  • Communicating policies to employees.
  • Introducing a process to maintain/update policies.
  • Evaluating and grade all roles using a global methodology.
  • Developing a grading structure and titling nomenclature.
  • Conducting external salary benchmarking.
  • Developing salary framework & align to grading structure.
  • Developing employee reward and recognition scheme.
  • Reengineering grievance & disciplinary process.
  • Developing annual employee engagement plan.
  • Training and managing HR Planning staff.
  • Preparing weekly report to Group HR Manager.
  • Reviewing/redeveloping employee suggestion scheme.
  • Establishing annual internal communication strategy and plan.


Requirements:
 
  • 8 years of experience for MBA/MA degree holders or 10 years of experience for BA Degree holders in HR functions preferably on HR Planning, and 3 years of experience in a managerial position.
  • MA or BA Degree in HR, Business Administration, Business Management, or Management.
  • Fluent English.
  • HRMS.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Managerial/leadership skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Human relation skills.
  • Good planning, forecasting and analytical skill.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • The ability to motivate and lead teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
