INTERVENTION PERMIT AURHORITY

DATES: Start ASAP to end of December 2017 - with scope for further extension.
LOCATION: Onshore Aberdeen, with occasional offshore visits,

A leading worldwide Oil & Gas Operator is looking to recruit an Intervention Permit authority on a long-term contract / consultant basis.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
·The Intervention Permit Authority will evaluate the planned scopes of work for each asset and the intervention work planned for forthcoming deployment, identifying the isolation & controls required to safely execute the works & countersigning the associated permits.
·The job holder will engage in permit to work systems, SAP and other corporate applications.

AT ALL TIMES, THE JOB-HOLDER WILL:
·Demonstrate personal commitment to the SHE&I & HR Policies
·Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant Statutory and Company SHE standards
·Actively participate in Company safety awareness and initiative schemes

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
·Required to have been an Area Authority within the oil industry or show proven experience in permit to work systems.
·A sound knowledge of task risk assessments is essential and the person in this role should be experienced and competent as mechanical isolation authority and be comfortable with the reading and understanding of P&ID's and Isometric drawings.
·MIST, BOSIET and Offshore Medical Certificates.
