I am currently recruiting on behalf of one of the world's leading developers within the Renewable Energy sector looking to recruit an Onshore GIS Manager. Your focus will be developing their onshore footprint within the UK and Ireland. 

You will be working within the project development team focussing primarily on site origination and development of onshore projects in the UK and Ireland. 

Key Responsibilities;

• Managing and maintaining the GIS applications, datasets, information, and internal file structures.
• Developing and implementing new GIS strategies and methodology to complement and improve the delivery of the onshore development team’s targets and objectives.
• Digitalising current practices, through process improvement, data capture, and management and development of new tools and software.
• Providing GIS support, advice, and training to the onshore project development team

Essential requirements;

• Hold a relevant and recognised GIS degree or diploma. 
• Experience in managing GIS projects, as well as developing and delivering GIS strategies and policies
• A proven track record managing GIS projects, as well as developing and delivering GIS strategies and policies
• Experience managing and consulting with external consultants, agents, and data suppliers or managers, and can manage and prioritise a varied workload in a dynamic working environment.
