At Worldwide Recruitment Solutions (WRS) we are recruiting on behalf of a world-renowned green energy development firm for a Junior Trader. Orsted are a rapidly growing green energy major with leading influence across Europe looking for talented individuals to develop and put into practice successful trading strategies to optimise their fleet of wind assets and green supply book.

We are looking for someone who is hardworking and motivated who will be responsible for managing their portfolio through the implementation of market analysis, optimisation and trading strategies.

You will be responsible for:

- Liaising with wind farm operational teams.
- Trading the organisation's asset and supply positions in the wholesale electricity markets under pre-defined trading strategies and business processes.
- Contributing to the development of all internal trading processes and tools.


The ideal candidate will:


- Withhold a minimum of a 2:1 degree in one of the following subjects; Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance or Physics.
- Portray an interest in power markets or trading commodities, stocks and equities.
- Have experience in external platforms such as; SQL and Python or equivalent.
- Demonstrate high level numerical skills and excellent analytical expertise.
