Job Overview:
The Internal Lawyer will provide comprehensive legal support to the organization, ensuring compliance with Iraqi laws and regulations. This role involves offering legal advice, managing legal risks, and representing the organization in legal matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal counsel to various departments within the organization on a wide range of issues, including contracts, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements to protect the organization's interests.
• Ensure the organization complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including corporate governance and industry-specific regulations.
• Manage and resolve legal disputes, including litigation and arbitration, representing the organization in court if necessary.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with the organization's operations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date legal documentation and records.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in law from a recognized university. A master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal role, preferably within a corporate environment.
• Fluent in English & native Arabic.
