Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and clarify contractual requirements with Partners and the Client. Develop a strategy for data collection, verification, consolidation, and delivery.
- Review and align equipment/component numbering procedures (tagging) with Client requirements.
- Educate disciplines on tagging rules and ensure compliance with Client expectations.
- Create and implement an Information Management Plan detailing team structure and strategy to meet contractual obligations.
- Develop procedures for information management to guide the Client, Partners, Project, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Lead and manage the IM team, ensuring effective coordination of activities.
- Collaborate on the setup of the Engineering Data Warehouse, specifying project needs.
- Establish and maintain a Master Tag Register for Engineering, ensuring data integrity through effective processes.
- Formulate a strategy for gathering tags and data from suppliers and subcontractors, overseeing the process from tender to final data integration.
- Guarantee the quality of data in the Engineering Data Warehouse, implementing reviews and performance indicators.
- Ensure IM deliverables are submitted to Partners/Clients as per contract.
Required Skills
- Master’s degree with at least 3 years in a similar role
- Expertise in Information Management and project technical data management
- In-depth knowledge of Oil & Gas project specifics and processes
- Proficiency in applicable codes
- Advanced skills in Excel; familiarity with Aveva Engineering or equivalent databases. PowerBI and Power Query are advantageous
- Strong analytical, organisational, and interpersonal skills; ability to prioritise tasks effectively
