Marine Superintendent - UAE

WRS requires a Marine Superintendent for our clients fleet of Jack Up Vessels.

-Provide Marine expertise & advice
-Daily marine support to the vessels and barges.
-Ensure marine assurance standards and rig move procedures are suitable and complied with.
-Ensure all marine risks are identified and assessed.
-Undertake offshore inspections of vessels and barges as per company procedures and prepares written reports in a timely manner for submission to the respective Fleet Manager.
-Provide instruction at company simulation centre

Required Competencies (skills, experience, knowledge)

-Must have good understanding of all marine procedures.
-Good knowledge of ISPS, ISM and Classification Society regulations and procedures.
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
-High standard of written and verbal English.

Qualifications/Certificates

-Master Mariner (Unlimited) Certificate of Competency.
-5 years seagoing experience with a minimum of 2 years as senior ranking officer preferably associated within the offshore industry.
