Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and management of a mechanical engineering team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Engage in marketing and business development efforts, leveraging existing client relationships to grow our services.
- Perform technical design, consulting, construction support, and new project scoping and proposal writing.
- Coordinate closely with our regional electrical engineering team to provide comprehensive MEP services.
- Support a healthy work-life balance while mentoring and guiding team members in their professional growth.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineering Registration (required).
- Minimum of 5 years of consulting engineering experience with a focus on HVAC and plumbing engineering.
- Familiarity with the International Building Code and International Mechanical Code.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.
- Excellent time management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for industry best practices and advancements.
- Active industry involvement and business development experience preferred.
- Expected Base Salary: $78,000 - $126,000 based on experience.
- Possible Signing Bonus based on experience.
- Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate.
- Competitive end-of-year discretionary bonus based on performance.
- Hybrid work schedule (subject to change).
- 401k with maximum of 5% contribution matching and 9% employee contribution.
