Mechanical Construction Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Project Manager to lead and manage mechanical projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will ensure successful project delivery, exceeding client expectations, while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage mechanical construction projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
- Define project scope, schedule, deliverables, and expectations in collaboration with clients.
- Oversee the installation of HVAC and plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with codes and project timelines.
- Manage project costs, including labor, materials, and subcontractors, and set up job costing systems.
- Negotiate purchase orders, review submittals, and ensure all project specifications are met.
- Prepare and present monthly reports, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and cost management.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors.
- Lead and mentor field personnel, ensuring a focus on safety and productivity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in mechanical construction or plumbing.
- Expertise in managing mechanical projects, with a focus on budgeting, scheduling, and safety.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
