Mechanical Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee mechanical operations at a large-scale oil and gas project. The role involves supervising mechanical activities, ensuring maintenance efficiency, monitoring contractor performance, and supporting commissioning and production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead mechanical teams on-site, ensuring all procedures and safety standards are followed.
- Supervise maintenance operations, optimizing equipment availability and performance.
- Investigate equipment failures and oversee repairs in collaboration with the Mechanical Methods Support Team.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure high-quality services and products.
- Provide technical support, coordinate maintenance scheduling, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain site safety, environmental regulations, and quality control.
Requirements:
- Education: HND or equivalent in a relevant discipline with technical apprenticeship.
- Experience: 10+ years in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industries, with strong knowledge of mechanical installations (GTGs, gas compressors, pumps).
- Skills: Familiarity with international codes & standards, mechanical maintenance practices, and contractor management.
- Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office & SAP UNISOL.
- Language: Fluent in English.
