Title: Nearshore Surveyor
Location: UK Nearshore (within 12nm)
Start Date: Late April (Exact date TBC)
Duration: 3 Weeks (Possibility of extension)
Project Scope: Hydrographic and Geophysical Surveys onboard nearshore vessels

WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is seeking experienced Nearshore Surveyors to support a valued client on upcoming nearshore campaigns across UK waters. 

This is an excellent opportunity to work on technically engaging projects, contributing to high-spec geophysical and hydrographic survey operations within the 12nm zone.

Software Experience Required:

  • QINSy
  • PDS2000
  • POSPac MMS
  • Trimble Business Centre
  • Caris HIPS and SIPS
  • Geosoft Oasis Montaj
  • AutoCAD
  • QGIS

Experience Required:

  • Nearshore vessel survey operations
  • Multibeam, GNSS, Geophysical & UXO data processing
  • Solid understanding of tidal theory, acoustic theory & geodesy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)

Certifications Required:

  • OGUK Medical
  • FOET/BOSIET with CA-EBS
  • Valid Passport
  • Seaman’s Book (preferred)
