JOB TITLE: Office Manager and Project Development Specialist
CLIENT: OPD ENERGY
LOCATION: Orlando, FL – Lake Mary
WORKSITE TYPE: Hybrid (3 days a week in the office)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Opdenergy is a well-positioned player in the energy sector, in continuous expansion and that focuses its activity on the production of energy assets and the management of all its phases: development, financing, construction, operation, and maintenance. Opdenergy prioritizes being an Independent Power Producer (IPP), with more than 15 years of experience and international presence, operating in 8 countries and more than 150 employees.
We are looking for an Office Manager and Project Development Specialist that will be in charge of the development, implementation, and maintenance of office procedures that are in compliance with the Company’s policies, establishing and maintaining systems for the efficient processing of all verbal and written communications for the development department.
Role description:
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate Setting up new vendors.
  • Follow up entire payment process to ensure that invoices are not due or remains unpaid
  • File annual reports for the LLC’s and Corp
  • Ability to deal with travel agents or travel apps
  • Ability to book Solar Business conferences and training for employees
  • Ability To coordinate Global IT department and local IT support
  • Ability to deal with issues related to office Landlord relationship, Utilities, supplies
  • Understands basic marketing and help with internal presentations
  • Office management and team support
  • Provide administrative support to CEO
Project development activities
  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information
  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
  • Filing and keeping track of the various versions of different contracts and agreements
  • Sending and receiving copies for approval and signature and making sure they get signed and filed at local courthouses
  • Taking care of insurance coverage amounts, policies renewal, software purchase, business licenses (at state level)
  • Having a basic understanding of how contracts flow through the negotiation process
  • Interfacing with landowners
  • Work with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers
HR & HSE support:
  • Assist HR department with new team members needs
  • In charge of the document storage & Administration matters
  • Support HSE needs in the US. Ability to handle daily HSE matters
