WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is looking for a skilled Offshore Geotechnical Engineer to join a valued client’s team, supporting offshore energy projects across wind, oil & gas, and subsea infrastructure.
This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong geotechnical background to play a key role in site investigations, foundation design, and offshore structure installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute offshore geotechnical investigations (CPT, boreholes, lab testing).
- Interpret geotechnical data for soil characterization and offshore foundation design.
- Support pile, suction caisson, and shallow foundation design using industry standards (API, DNV, ISO).
- Conduct geotechnical risk assessments and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Work on a variety of offshore wind BID projects and feasibility studies.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams for integrated offshore solutions.
- Provide technical support during offshore construction and installation phases.
Ideal Candidate
- Degree in Geotechnical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
- Strong experience in offshore foundation design and interpretation.
- Familiarity with geotechnical software (PLAXIS, ABAQUS, LPILE, APILE).
- Proactive mindset and willingness to learn are essential.
- Team-oriented with the ability to adapt to project demands.
- Willing to work offshore when required.
