Origination Specialist
Job description
You’ll be part of the Origination & Land where you, together with your colleagues, will identify and evaluate renewable development opportunities. You’ll utilise your knowledge and skills to secure an organic pipeline of onshore wind, solar, and energy storage projects, liaising and managing with internal stakeholders and external consultants, landowners, and communities.

Key parts of your role will include;
- project identification and sourcing of development opportunities
- project evaluation/appraisal while maximising project development opportunities through feasibility studies
- supporting the creation and development of strategies for growth, creating project investment value, and managing project risk
- building and maintaining effective stakeholder relations, incl. internal stakeholders, external consultants, agents, and landowners
- hold a relevant and recognised degree or diploma i.e., project management or renewables
- have experience with renewable project identification, evaluation, and appraisal, and understand the primary success parameters and risks
- have an awareness of the renewables landscape in the UK market, incl. current trends, competition, opportunities, planning, grid, and regulations
