PMS Engineer - UAE

WRS are looking for a PMS Engineer for our client who operates a fleet of Jack Ups.

-To ensure that company’s computer based planned maintenance system (CBPMS) is satisfactorily implemented and maintained.
-Ensure compliance of system by routine audits.
-Is the key person relating to all aspects of the CBPMS.

Required Competencies (skills, experience, knowledge)

-Experience in installing and configuring client/server applications based on web technologies.
-Basic understanding of Microsoft workgroup/domain networks.
-Understanding of Microsoft SQL server database and structured query language.
-Excellent skills in using MS Office products (Excel, Word etc...).
-Experience in implementing marine based PMS systems.
-Understanding of basic programming in Microsoft environment is desirable.
-Self-motivated, able to work under pressure and to multi task
-With good command of English Language
-Good knowledge of computers, MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Powerpoint) Internet, Scanner, CD Writing
-Ability to deal with people tactfully and effectively.

Qualifications/Certificates

- STCW III/1: Officers in Charge of an Engineering Watch
-  Minimum two years’ experience in the rank as Second Engineer on self-propelled jack ups.
-  Fluent in written & spoken English.
