Preconstruction Manager – West Palm Beach , FL

An experienced and detail-oriented Preconstruction Manager is needed to oversee project planning, budgeting, and coordination during the preconstruction phase. This role involves collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to develop accurate estimates, manage bid processes, and create project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead preconstruction efforts, ensuring quality, budget alignment, and constructability.
  • Identify and evaluate project risks, propose alternative designs, and resolve constructability issues.
  • Develop and review cost models, estimates, and subcontractor pricing.
  • Manage preconstruction RFIs, addendums, and contract documents.
  • Prepare SD, DD, and CD pricing for Guaranteed Maximum Price contracts.
  • Engage with clients and project teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Review subcontractor qualifications and ensure compliance with project standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction, with exposure to preconstruction, estimating, and operations.
  • Strong estimating and scheduling skills with experience using computer-based estimating tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
