Are you an experienced individual within the Renewable Energy sector? Do you demonstrate detailed technical structural knowledge of offshore substation topside design?

At WRS we are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading green energy firm whom are looking for an experienced Principal Structural Engineer to join their team of experts.

They want someone that will bring excellent experience and expertise into their highly skilled work force and to aid them when delivering excellent value to their current network of offshore wind developers.

You will be responsible for:
- Leading structural topside packages for OSS wind projects (from feasibility, through to detailed design)
- Providing technical assurance on project deliverables.
- Managing engineering delivery teams based in multiple countries / regions.
-Assisting / leading working groups for developing new engineering delivery digital tools.
- Working to develop and improve automation within our design processes.

A successful candidate will possess:
- A strong track record of knowledge with HVAC offshore substations topsides.
- A deep understanding of offshore substations layout and philosophy.
- Advanced knowledge of existing structural platforms (Sesam, SACS, Abaqus etc)
- A degree or chartered status in structural engineering (or equivalent)
- A deep understanding of all offshore relevant codes and standards.
