Project Executive – Data Center Project

A leading national mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead the largest data center project in the country, valued at $640M and scheduled through 2029. This is a high-visibility, executive-level role overseeing all phases of project delivery, driving performance, safety, quality, and profitability across a multi-year, mission-critical project.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project teams from preconstruction through completion on a multi-year, large-scale data center project
- Oversee project budgeting, scheduling, performance, and risk management to meet company and client objectives
- Serve as the primary client liaison, ensuring strong communication across stakeholders, owners, and engineers
- Support, mentor, and develop project managers and field leaders to achieve operational excellence
- Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and financial management processes
- Ensure compliance with mechanical construction standards, codes, and mission-critical requirements
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive mechanical construction management experience
- Proven success leading complex projects exceeding $100M
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, communication, and client relationship skills
- Experience with mission-critical facilities or data center construction preferred
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment managing large, complex teams
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $150,000 – $210,000+ (depending on experience)
