Job description

We are looking for a Project Planner for our client in the Wind Energy Sector

Responsibility

Owns (parts of) the asset project schedule supporting and challenging the project management in terms of the time aspect of the project development and execution of the project. Actively provides input to P&A continuous improvement with focus on project planning and supporting CI in other areas in P&A.

Area of impact

Asset (Development and/or Execution) Project. P&A department and its standards.

Tasks

Whilst being part of the project management team of a development project, the Intermediate Project Planner gives input to the continuous improvement of the way of doing planning in Offshore Wind business unit. Develops and maintains the project master schedule, supports and challenges (strategic and operational) project planning.

  • Organizes workshops to identify, analyze and interpret issues by gathering, discussing all relevant information
  • Identifies and selects the best possible solution to project/task related problems and shares this with fellow team members
  • Identifies for many project/task related issues cause and effect relationships and able to create a root cause analysis

Behavior & role in team

Proactively identifies and engages with relevant stakeholders. Challenges successfully stakeholders on PM and Package Manager level (being the 'challenging friend' of PMs/PDs). Lives up to all our leading principles.

Experience
Min. 5 years of relevant job experience, ideally in the wind business.

  • Advanced knowledge in MS Office
  • Expert knowledge in Primavera 6
  • Advanced Knowledge ThinkCell, MS Project, and Power BI
  • Proactive communication style
  • Project Management IPMA level D
  • Team player
