Quantity Surveyor- Skelleftea

On behalf of a major EPC company, WRS are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work in Sweden on a contract, rotational basis. This will be a long term contract, rotating 3/1 at site in Skelleftea, paying an hourly rate in SEK.

The role will be working on the construction of a battery storage gigafactory.

Job Duties Include:

• Participates in pre-construction kick off meeting; writes and distributes minutes
• Utilises project processes and procedures
• Maintains correspondence, Site Instructions and Contractor change registers
• Co-ordinates the review of Contractor correspondence with other Customer/departments/disciplines and replies to such correspondence

The Ideal candidate will have:

• MUST have the right to work in the EU
• Significant experience of managing all post-award processes (general contract administration, change control, claims avoidance and management, final accounting, dispute resolution, etc)
• The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Able to cope in a complex and dynamic environment
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or Engineering
• Member/Associate or Fellow of relevant recognised professional Institution (e.g. RICS) (preferred)
