Senior Auditer

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1.
Oversee the activities of in-charge auditors assigned to review organizations or functions falling within his/her area of responsibility, as well as provide training/assistance to Internal Audit staff.
2.
Establish the purpose, scope and audit approach of each project or audit assigned to him/her. Plan the theory and scope of the audit, and lead to prepare an audit program.
3.
Lead to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the management and prepare a formal written report expressing his/her opinion on same and including recommendations to alleviate any deficiencies noted.
4.
Make oral or written presentations to management during and at the conclusion of the examination, discussing deficiencies and recommending corrective action to improve operations and reduce cost.
5.
Plan and execute special reviews at the request of management.
6.
Advise other members of Internal Auditing on Company policy and procedures relating to that field of Company activities in which he/she specializes.
7.
Evaluate the performance and capabilities of the audit team who worked under his direction during the audit.
8.
Provide other staff services including implementing on-the-job training of newly hired employees; reviewing computer system proposals; and performing special assignments such as relief of chief auditor and assistance to the Company's independent auditors.
9.
Perform other duties as directed by Line Manager.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business-related field.
• Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Public Accountant, or Certified Fraud Examiner or other relevant professional certification is a must.
Ten (10) years of experience in accounting, auditing or a related field is required; including three (4) years in internal or external auditing.
• High proficiency in spoken and written English. Familiar with usage of technical terminology common to the energy trading industry, accounting/auditing profession, and general business/commercial practice.
• Ability to digest and understand the overall details of a Company with complex worldwide operations to make constructive recommendations.
• Professional, highly specialized knowledge of auditing principles and procedures, with particular emphasis on those applicable to all phases of the energy trading industry. Broad understanding of, and aptitude in implementing, current audit techniques such as statistical sampling and flow charting.
• Tact and objectivity in dealing with management and lower levels in organizations under audit and in supervising highly skilled professional employees.
