My client is global leader in the renewable energy sector and the world’s fourth-largest wind energy producer, that is currently present in 28 international markets across Europe, Latin America, North America and Asia. They are currently looking for a Senior Connection Manager to be based in Warsaw, Poland.

Responsibilities:

o Managing the process of submitting applications for determining the conditions for connecting to the DSO / TSO network,
o Negotiations with operators and other partners to obtain connection conditions,
o Technical support at the stage of preparation of the development project in terms of taking into account factors related to connection to the grid in the projects,
o Conducting technical due diligence and risk assessments regarding connection to the grid received from the DSO / TSO,
o Conducting and / or supervising analyzes and expert opinions necessary to obtain connection conditions and optimal power plant operation, including reactive power compensation analysis,
o Development of a concept for connecting wind and solar farms to the DSO / TSO grid,
o Development of energy solutions together with the implementation department and external partners,
o Development of measurement data exchange schemes with DSO / TSO and with control and supervision systems,
o Leverage your expertise in electricity sales contracts (PPAs) with ideas for new projects,
o Analyzing data on the possibility of connecting to the DSO / TSO network,
Technical support at the stage of negotiations with GPO contractors and MV, WN, NN lines.

Requirements:
o Knowledge of Polish regulations and standards regarding the power grid,
o Knowledge of procedures resulting from the NC RfG network code, mainly EON, ION and FON,
o Knowledge of technologies in the field of solar energy and wind,
o Knowledge of legal requirements during the application process,
o Engineering bachelor degree in electrical, mechanical works or similar.
o Languages: Polish and fluent English. Spanish is considered a plus.
o Relevant experience in renewable projects development and in the management of matrix team
