In order to facilitate this business level initiative, we’re rapidly expanding our capabilities within the offshore wind sector and establishing an offshore wind Centre of Excellence (CoE). Within the CoE, our consultancy and front-end development team will bring experience and track record into our already highly skilled workforce and help deliver excellent value to our existing network of offshore wind developers, clients, partners and projects.

Our broader ambitions in the offshore renewable space extend from early-stage advisory, concept and feasibility through to delivering full EPC and EPCI packages.

Role Context:

As a Senior Consultant (or Lead Consultant depending on experience), you will work with our wider offshore wind teams to provide a range of services and expertise to clients.

An agile, flexible approach is essential, with the opportunity to be involved in a range of areas and regions from engaging with clients to realise their needs; to technical delivery on cutting edge projects.

You’ll be:

Involved in the execution of several of the following technical activities aligned to your track record and skills:

• Delivery of consultancy and early development services, such as feasibility and conceptual studies
• Yield Assessments and design optimisation of offshore wind farms
• Layout development for offshore wind farms
• Design review and assessment of offshore wind farms to ensure that the engineering developed by the supply chain meets the project requirements and any applicable statutory and regulatory specifications

You’ll have:

• Experience in offshore wind energy consulting/early phase project development work
• Experience in leading study work and developing high quality proposals
• Practical consulting/delivery experience
• Excellent communication skills including ability to produce concise reports and presentations appropriate for all levels
• Confidence to work at all levels of a client organization
• The desire to play a key role in a growing business
• A relevant degree or post-graduate qualification in a suitably applicable field
• Technical / hands-on profile with good communication
• Existing industry connections are desirable
• English is a requirement (written and spoken)
