On behalf of an operator in Malaysia, I am searching for a Senior Exploration Geologist to join them in KL on a 2 year renewable contract.

Description:

• To perform regional and prospect specific assessment of exploration potential of exploration block.
• To design and plan complex studies to identify new prospects, and the hydrocarbon systems, develop new play concepts, and qualified models of the subsurface.
• To conduct risk and uncertainty analysis to estimate the range of HC resources calculation.
• To develop high quality prospect inventory.
• To identify potential near field exploration opportunities.
• To prepare well planning, execution and operational for exploration and appraisal wells.
• To assist in the compilation of data and complete the reporting of exploration activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Geology, Geoscience or Earth Sciences
• Possessed 15-20 years of experience as an Exploration Geologist
• Experience in both carbonate and clastic reservoirs
